Celebrity deaths have always sparked a curiosity in the public over the world. There are many celebrities whose deaths have become horror stories, whether solved or unsolved.

Some celebrities who had millions of fan followers, fame and attraction have died a mysterious and horrified death.

Who would have ever thought that the world of glitz and glamour from outside also has some pretty horrifying murders and deaths?

Dolores O’Riordan, 2018

Dolores O’Riordan

Dolores O’Riordan, the lead singer of the Irish alt-rock band the Cranberries died an unexpected death at the age of 46.

On January 15, 2018, she was in a hotel room in London where she was recording. Her death has been classified as unexplained and there were no suspects found.

Sadly, the mystery of her death has remained unsolved and yet, questionable to her family members and fans.

 

Prince Rogers Nelson, 2016

Prince Rogers Nelson

Prince Rogers Nelson joined the forbidding fraternity of questionable celebrities death on April 21, 2016.

Prosecutors could not find any evidence to explain how he got the opioid that killed him in an accidental overdose.

Hence, no one got charged for his death. A two year investigation on the case concluded Prince taking the common painkiller Vicodin, leading him to death.

Unfortunately, it is still no clear and questionable how one of the most respected and loved celebrity died.

 

Ronni Chasen, 2010

Ronni Chasen

Famous Hollywood publicist, known for representing actors and musician, Ronni Chasen died in 2010.

She was driving home from the movie premiere of Burlesque when she got shot multiple times in her car in Beverly Hills.

Police believe that it was due to a robbery, even though her purse was still at the scene of the crime.

The main suspect of the crime was a guy named Harold martin Smith, who shot himself with the same gun after police searched him at his apartment.

 

David Carradine, 2009

David Carradine

David Carradine was known for his iconic roles in Kung Fu and Kill Bill. Carradine was found dead in his hotel in Bangkok in 2009.

According to the sources, a hotel maid found him with a noose around his neck. Police believed it to be a suicide case.

Later, a private autopsy was done that showed he died from suffocation, but his murder was never solved.

 

Brittany Murphy, 2009

Brittany Murphy

A questionable celebrities death accounts to actress Brittany Murphy who died in 2009, at the age of 32. She was battling by flu-like symptoms for several days. Her death was ruled as an accident or of natural causes initially.

But when her husband, Simon Mon jack, died six months later under same circumstances, it became questionable.

Murphy’s dad claims her to be poisoned with arsenic, yet the police have never re-opened the case. This leads to many doubts to her family and fans.

 

Tupac Shakur, 1996

The celebrity star of hip-hop, Tupac Shakur was in a car headed to a club in Las Vegas when we was shot four times on September 7, 1996, in a drive by shooting.

He died six days later, at a local hospital. The story begins with a failed attempt on his life two years earlier.

Shakur had blamed on producer Sean and rival rapper Christopher Wallace. His murder is one of the strangest unsolved murder mystery.

 

Natalie Wood, 1981

The world was on shock on November 29, 1981, when the one of the most loved celebrities in movie industry of Hollywood, Natalie Wood drowned while on a boating trip with her husband, Robert Wagner.

Robert had reported her missing after a night of drinking. Wood’s body was found several hours later, floating face-down in the water.

At first, her death was considered as an accident. Later, when police found bruises on her body, the law enforcement considered it as a foul play and took Wagner as a prime suspect.

In 2012, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department changed the cause of her death from accident to drowning plus undetermined factors. But, the major trouble arose when there were not enough evidences to support an arrest, and the mystery remained unsolved.

 

Bob Crane, 1978

The star of the TV comedy Hogan’s Heroes, Bob Crane died on 1978. He was found beaten to death in his apartment at the age of 49 with an electrical cord wound around his throat.

His death came as a shock when police found his photographed pornography and relevant evidence about his life, including his apparent sex addiction.

After his death, many of his fans believed that he was killed by his longtime friend, John Carpenter.

Yet, there were no evidence for the jury to convict Carpenter in the trial. Because John was a sole suspect and he died in 1998, the death of Bob Crane shall remain questionable forever.

Bruce Lee’s death gave a massive shock to the world. The famous actor and martial artist died at the age of 32 due to aspirin.

Lee was having reoccurring headaches and seizures that led him to be hospitalized before his death. At the evening of July 20, 1973, he when having dinner with his friends, he got a headache.

His friends gave him aspirin to relief his headache, but the same aspirin caused his death. Doctors claimed his death to be allergic reaction to the aspirin. Yet, the real cause of his death is unsolved and questionable.

 

Marilyn Monroe, 1962

Beautiful, glamorous and Hollywood’s most vibrant start, Marilyn Monroe, died suddenly at the age of 36. She was found dead in her bedroom on August 5, 1962, at her Los Angeles home.

A barbiturate overdose lead to her sudden and questionable death. Her death was ruled a probable suicide.

Monroe had affair with both John F. Kennedy and his brother, Robert F. Kennedy that lead to a doubt of taking her own life.

Many suspected Monroe to be murdered by being forced to take the drugs that killed her to keep her away from talking to the Kennedy brothers. Yet, it is unlikely to know what actually happened to her and it has definitely become a questionable celebrity death.

 

George Reeves, 1959

George Reeves

George Reeves was famous for his acting as Superman in the 1950s television series Adventures of Superman.

He was found dead due to a gunshot wound on his head in 1959, at the age of 45. Though, his death was ruled as a suicide, many believed he was either murdered or the victim of an accidental shooting.

His fiancee and three other guests were present when the incident had occurred. Yet, no one was ever charged with his death, making his death questionable.

 

Elizabeth Short, 1947

Elizabeth Short

Elizabeth Short, one of the most famous cold case in U.S. history, known as Black Dahlia, was found naked in a vacant Los Angeles in 1947, at the age of 22.

Her body was cut in half at the waist, drained of blood and posed. It was the gruesome death of Elizabeth Short who was an aspiring actress.

This case produced over 150 suspects, but no one was ever charged with her death, which made the case more questionable.

 

Thelma Todd, 1935

Thelma Todd

American actress, Thelma Todd was found death in 1935, at the age of 29, due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

She was found slumped over the steering wheel of her Lincoln. The engine wasn’t running, however, her throat showed some signs of trauma. Suspect of the murder included her ex-husband, her lover, and the gangster, Lucky Luciano.

According to the police, she had received several notes demanding pay of $10,000 and a threat to be killed, prior to her death. Unfortunately, her death came to no conclusion due to no evidence.
